today i went to Eight Flags (you know the computer shop at can B there) and found out that they’re selling wacom bamboo tablets (B5 sized) at $179.00. so if you have the money to spare and spend quite some amount of time in front of the computer i highly recommend you get one, plus you’ll be introduced to the WONDERFUL WORLD OF DIGITAL PAINTING sans mouse. plus you dont have to spend time scanning your stuff anymore. how awesome is that?

there’s a cheaper (and smaller, duh) one at about 130 or so, but i recommend you dont get that because B5 is the “standard” imo.

also dont worry, if you get one i’m sure there’re enough people in coen to give you a quick brief on photoshop, how to use it, and etc to get you to a running start.

i’ll admit that using a tablet feels odd, but only for the first hour or so. you’ll be running along fine after that. it’s like learning how to cycle from scratch but with 100x less effort!!!

i know some of you are disappointed in the quality and quantity of the comics (i should know, i think some of them could use some work as well, moreover our content is pretty linear so far) but there’s no need to be rude. we just got started on this and we’re working on it (as in working on something that can last long term) so we appreciate your understanding!

moreover if you have any criticisms make them constructive. help us help you! non-constructive criticism is trolling and will be excised.

What can i say? the comics workshop was good, better than i expected. you should all go next time. also the turnout was pretty good! thanks to:

Inspired by the previous post I think it would be entertaining to update the site twice weekly (or more) with a series of sad miko comics. It chronicles the adventures of a lonely shrine maiden and her decrepit shrine, abandoned by the shrine’s gods because they were too busy or something. It would give the readers of this site something to look forward to, at least.

But ideas are not fast in coming, so I guess for now it’ll be updated whenever, or until it’s replaced by NTU doujinshis (if they are made public that is)

(Of course it draws inspiration from real life issues but its meant to be a light-hearted take and nothing offensive;that said, whether sad miko will find happiness depends on you ahahaha )
