Yeah the kaleidoscope posters are up! see whet you can spot them. Was quite stunned when i printed cos the hardcopy looks even more stunning!! XD Not to forget this event will be held this weekend at Funan IT Mall. And heres the updated poster:
Now for the results. The selected pieces are War and Peace from Thai and Touhou F1 from Weiliang and Thai. Omedeto! (congrats) For those not selected, not to worry, I will be placing them at our NTU booth for all to see so be sure to check out our event.
Other studios will be coming down as well so be sure to check them and their drawings out. Though they do not have booths though (i wonder…) Anw we are thinking of having guess the anime character sorta game at our booth so anime lovers be sure to visit our booth=)
anw the updates bout previous events hav to come later as i hav projs and assignments to rush. haiz thats why i dun like to blog. next time, i might hav passed to li chao already=)

Finally i manage to get this settle
For those out there who want to learn how to draw, Comics Illustration Workshop is here again! This time is on 23October Thursday 7-9pm at SAC meeting room2 (somehow room2 is easier to book). The workshop will be conducted by TKG Comics Circle. For more information about TKG, click on the link at the side or go to www.tkgcc.com. And the rates offered are much more affordable than external courses. $7 for non-member and $5 for members. Subcommers (anime, comics, designers) will be paying $3 for it. Where normal rates can be at $30 or more per session.

haha this one a bit like personal blog but sort of let those ppl know where to go scan in NTU.
Anyway i receive a few A3 drawings from TKG coordinator Weiliang (and thanks for getting the pics for me ^ ~ ^). So need to find somewhere to scan cos my house scanner cant take in bigger than A4. went to adm library got lost in the process. it is actually on the first floor but i tot it is at some hidden place so i gt lost. typical isumi from hayate no gotoku. and realise they also only scan A4. the very nice guy at adm library help me ask ard the sch via phone and other places also just A4 scanner. The only place with big scanner is at Basement Lab… which i cant access…
oh wells. when i just about to be in despair (cos i walk all the way from south spine), i saw the designers’ chairperson, Dennice. He was about to go for lesson in ADM. (really sorry for that) oh wells and he help me access the lab and scan. Thanks lots!!!
So the moral of the story is:
- if you want to scan A4, either hav own scanner or go to Lee Wee Nam Library, ADM library or Library 2
- If want to scan A3, find a adm fren to help u scan at ADM basement. Make sure he/she is free to help. really feel paiseh when i noe the fren is rushin for time…
- printing flyers in lee wee nam by cash. print good quality posters in adm. but think need to get adm students help too.

The First Ever Manga Drawing Sessions are here! Both sessions will be held in October- 9th and 22nd 2008. 9th Oct: 7-9pm and 22nd Oct: 6-8pm. Both in SAC meeting room 2 which is right below cafe by the quad. Updated: for thurs session, due to some prob in sac booking system, it will be held elsewhere.
We welcome both talented artists and curious participants in our sessions.

For email, please send at least one day before the session. Dates and timings of events on flyers.
For the first one session, it will be random drawings, basically meant for Kaleidoscope. So you can submit on the spot if you have finished or scan and send to me after you touch up at home. 2nd session will be for drawing about your fav comics=) You are welcome to bring your laptop and tablet for drawing on that day. If you have any questions, our subcommers will be there to answer your queries. Cya there!!
